but both ke and a few users on this site are theorizing that there is a script problem running in the entire LE that is also affecting conversations and more.
Can you name me another user besides you who speculates about this?
There is no indication whatsoever about a global programming problem in the MELE.
- draconiam4 years agoSeasoned Ace@holger1405 Gladly, should be actually helpful if more people (specially PC modders) can get to the game code and see if there is something broken with the script tracker and hence that is where Bioware should concentrate on @EA_Mako this could be a community effort:

This achievements work flawless on the PC and on the PS as well afaik, so this is in no way a global problem, it is a problem on the Xbox version.
Scripting is programming, this games work flawless on all platforms plus/minus some bugs, this alone rules out a "script problem running in the entire LE."
A bug, or software bug, is by definition an error in a computer program (like a video game) that causes the program to produce an incorrect or unexpected result or to react in an unintended way.
(And sometimes it is hard to determine if an error in the game is a bug, or an issue caused by problems on the player's computer/console.)And this is exactly what this is, not some kind of global problem with the programming, but a simple bug.

Nobody looks at the code besides the developers, simply because you would need to decompile the exe to get to the codeAnd even then, what you would get is not even close to the code that Bioware has.
Modders use elements that are already used in game, textures, meshes, dialogue, sequences and change them so that they work inside the already existing framework of the game engine.
So, with all due respect, you shouldn't speculate about a "script problem running in the entire LE." when you don't even understand the terms, which you clearly don't.

That is also wrong. They can be bugged on all platforms. If this Achievements don't work on a PC or PS than because of a local issue, it is not a widespread problem like on the Xbox.
The paramour II & III achievements for mass effect legendary are glitched. I am playing on xbox. I romanced thane in me 2 & rekindled my relationship with kaiden in me3. Neither achievement has popped. I got the paramour achievement for me 1.

I get something similar in the PS4 at least for Paramour 3 as I got Paramour 2 rekindling the Williams romance in 3. In the 360 version you could earn the Paramour achievement AFTER the Collector Base but now all I get when I talk to the conversation that triggers the romance the screen goes black. I can invite her up to the Captain cabin but the game doesn't register that the romance took place as the script apperantly skips that event and hence there is no reward.
What I usually did in the old version was do that romance and then reload to not have it transfer to the next game but now I can't even do that even though the game acknowledges that I can continue building up romances in the after credit sequence.
This is a very common problem and there are various threads with this problem that you tell me.
I don't mind a workaround.
Do any on Xbox have experience of 'successfully' completing Insanity III?
I can try to replicate another run. 🙂
I might do another run without DLCs and with the perceived easiest class, just to feel I'm 'complete'. 🙂

Not after the patch, no. They patched out my workaround in that update (farming all three achievements by killing Saren over and over again), but the regular way to get it is still broken.
At this point they should just revert to the original state, at least there was some way to get it.
