Hello all! I’m currently playing through mass effect 2 legendary edition and I’m on the mission mining the canyon. When the mech shoots the first wall he keeps shooting it and faces it when he walks by. This continues and wears the first power cell down immediately. That means the mech can’t make it to the end on 3 power cells. Any way to fix this? It makes the mission impossible to complete 😦 I’m on the Xbox one X
I had the same problem, but the mech did end up making it to the resources. I think the power cells are set to be depleted at certain stages during the mission and not on the timer depleting. But yeah, it does need fixing.
I don't even know why ME2 has such a stupid mission in the first place... Boring, overstays its welcome, and the reward is laughable.
Anyway, I did it yesterday, Xbox as well, had the bug as well... But it did not affect completion.
You sure you had all power cells? There are four, not three.
1) Immediately at the starting area
2) After the mech breaks the first wall, there's a fissure in the ground, cell is on the far side of it
3) At the varren spawnpoint with the flaming pipe
4) Right at the final turn on the right
If you did, then it's a bummer.
I had the same problem. The issue was that the 2nd power cell (by the fissure) wasn’t there. I restarted mission and it appeared!
