Solved

Mass Effect 3 (2012) crash as soon as menu shows.

Since yesterday I have the problem again that after I launch the game it crashes as soon as the main menu starts showing. Afterwards the EA app reports 'Failed to launch the game. An Error on our end caused the launch to fail.'

Is there a problem with the EA servers again or something to do with my account?

Note: I have already ran a full repair of the game.

Unfortunately, the dump files do not contain any additional information that could help to identify the problem.

    1. Make sure Steam and EA app are closed.
    2. Disable the internet connection of your PC.
    3. Go to your "C:\Users\<Your User Name>\Documents\Bioware\Mass Effect 3” folder.
    4. Move the "Save" folder and the "BIOGame” folder to your desktop. (The folders must be gone from the original path!)
    5. Test the game.

So, starting the game while being offline works. It does not crash. Interesting.

Then I connected the LAN cable again and can connect to EA servers - no crash while inside the game.

I don't think the problem is the LAN connection, but rather a corrupt save or game .ini file.
Test the game online without putting the save files back into the folder.

If that works we know what the culprit is.

It is most likely just one save file that is causing the problem, and it is probably one of the most recent saves you made.

I didn't mention it but I already removed all the previous save games in a previous attempt. Also, as explained multiple times it happens on multiple machines.

If you log in to the EA app with your account and start the game, the cloud save feature will download all save files, including corrupted ones, to the device you’re using at that moment. This would lead to the same problem occurring on a different device.
That’s why I set the system to offline mode in the previous step, to prevent that.
