Mass Effect: Legendary Edition (Can't get past Main Menu) [PC]

***The Rant***

I am currently stuck at the main menu of Mass Effect: Legendary Edition. I previously bought the game last year through Steam and had an issue where I couldn't get the game to launch through the EA app at all. I had to download Origin through other means and was able to finally play the game with no issues. I then started having issues where Origin stopped working entirely and I was forced to go through the EA app that wasn't allowing me to play the game at all. 

To give more insight... the download button for Mass Effect: Legendary Edition was completely grayed out. I contacted EA Support and was unable to get anything resolved. I was through a large portion of the game and couldn't return it. So I decided to uninstall it.

***The Problem***

Here I am months later, trying to play the game again. I am able to install the game through the EA app (finally). However, the game only loads up to the main menu. That is it. That is all. I had an issue where my saves weren't loaded but luckily, I had a backup save file... It still wasn't working. I doubt that was the cause but figured I'd mention it. Even with all of them 

I spoke to support chat and they said that this is global issue. I wanted to come here and try to ease my headache and ask around for any tips... or workarounds. I'm willing to go through any steps. 

I'd really like to get through the games!
