Mass Effect Legendary Edition Failing To Launch "Files need to be repaired"
Hello, can anyone offer assistance? I don’t know who else to turn to, I don't think that tech support knows how to solve my predicament and it's making me feel rather frustrated. I bought Mass Effect Legendary Edition on Steam, whenever I try to launch the game via Steam the game won't launch because it keeps saying that the files need to be repaired. Then it goes to a small error page saying “something happened on Electronic Arts end and to come back later”. It then attempts to download Mass Effect again despite it also saying that the download was completed. The game has already been downloaded fully using Steam, because it was bought on steam.
I have reset the pc, downloaded new window updates that I needed, and updated my Radeon software. Nothing is working, I even contacted tech support but they don’t really have a good idea either so far. I did as they asked; uninstalled Mass Effect, turned off the background aps, uninstalled EA App and redownloaded it from the website. It didn’t help, I couldn’t find the download button for Mass Effect as it appears that you HAVE to download from Steam. “To launch from the EA app. Download this game through Steam.” Can some of you guys help a fellow gamer out? I just wanna play Mass Effect Bro’s. Is this some sort of glitch or bug that EA is unaware of? Should I uninstall this Origin Thing? Although I don't know if its the correct one.
I hope I can upload the other screenshots I took, it seems it only allows 3 pictures to be uploaded
My PC Specs are:
