Just got myself into ME3 part of LE and really can't believe what I'm seeing.All DLC stuff has moved into stores. Adding a screenshot to show what I saw (just the very start of the game, Garrus recruited).In the original ME3, all those guns except the three first were available at the game start, but now for some reason we have to buy them. Alright, that's probably a good thing from a gameplay point of view, but now there's no way we could collect all the stuff, because money amount hasn't changed, not to mention money needed to advance guns to level 5.Now that looks like a completely gameplay oversight.Would that thing change in future, or we should wait for mods to bring the stuff back?P.S. Valiant costs how much? Ouch.

I agree with this as before, some people have complained about the overpriced dlc weapons and such, it's frustrating how they haven't done anything regarding this despite multiple post about it.The Arena is not a valid option for those who want to enjoy the game the way it's supposed to (Playing Citadel DLC before Final Mission).And grinding from missions and such its not enough, i also had to do NG+ just to get the mod gun to level 10 for the trophy. It's ridiculous and they have to do something about it.

Well, you can grind it out in the Armex Arsenal Arena, boom, infinite money.But I don't think grinding is a good idea. It doesn't fit the theme of Mass Effect games imo, and the prices for most weapons are simply too high. 250k for the Valiant? biower plsA higher starting bonus, maybe an import bonus capped at 50k from Mass Effect 2 in addition to the 35k from the first mission would help, as well as weapon prices tweaks. Right now these "balanced" prices looks like someone threw darts at random numbers while being blindfolded. Noone should be forced to grind out the arena (even though I like doing it from time to time once available).

Yeah, I'm fine with adding additional money sinks since you can grind for credits in ME3 (unlike ME2), but they went overboard on the prices. It's fine if they don't want you to be able to purchase everything, but with the existing economy, it's really not worth purchasing anything.They should start by dividing them all by 10 and then looking to see if credit awards should be adjusted (import bonus, more from the arena, etc.).

I find this a lot more problematic in ME2.In ME3, it is just frustrating that I am unable to try out a huge percentage of the available arsenal. Still, I don't need more than one armor set to best complement my playstyle & class, and all I need is one decent weapon from each category so I can outfit any squad member in case I am stuck with them (e.g. Tali being locked for two Rannoch missions).In ME2 however, many of the upgrades affecting Shepard and the whole squad are locked behind a huge credit wall. It really sucks playing on Insanity and not being able to buy the tech power upgrades for 75k for example, when my squad's focus is exactly that.It was already bad in OG ME2, but now they've just put even more items to the store to "balance out gameplay"... And they reverted the credit import changes to their original value with one of the updates. It's like they have no idea about their own game's systems.

Agreed completely. ME3 was already bad enough in the original with the amount of funds available to you, but with all the added DLC gear, it's just insane. There definitely needs to be some sort of rebalance. I hope the devs are listening, but seeing as they reduced all the money available in ME2 then I'm not sure.

Yes, of course anything could be grinded, but that's require Citadel DLC to be finished, or at least started, and I prefer to do it before the final assault, just to keep the idea of the last stop before going into unknown.
My idea is that, like for ME2, Bioware done only half of the job, moving free DLC gear to stores but forgetting to add more money.

@ELevin And with the latest update removed tons of cash from ME1 to ME2 and still no monetary reward as an import bonus UNLESS you make a ME3 NG+ import from a ME3 save after finishing the game (I had to do so only to level the weapons to level 10 in order to Platinum the game, as Bioware didn't bother changing that one from the original release where it was either a NG+ run or get the same weapon x10 times in the multiplayer lootboxes).

@draconiam, yep, that's the point. They do half the job every time with game balance. Including removed multiplayer and lots of its leftovers still in the game.
Irony is that now, with all DLC and items included, I play LE more much more closely to fresh ME3 when it was released in 2012.

@ELevinI made a blog once saying that when I was starting ME3 LE Bioware made and planned the third game originally as a multiplayer game with single player components and it still shows considering that thw value of the War Assets is cut by half and everyone refers in the Galactic Readiness map as the Reapers winning in all fronts (the same conversation if you didnt played multiplayer) with no single player way of countering that. Naturally people blasted my blog as simple fan hate saying things like a monetary import bomus would be lore and game breaking as Shepard was in Alliance lockup and had his items confiscated (with all of them conveniently stashed in Vancouver when the Reapers struck).
If people keep defending Bioware we will get more Arrival like content (after doing the biggest side quest in ME2 the company remembered that the Reapers themseleves needed to more addressed and that they needed another excuse for Shepard to not be doing anything when ME3 came out), I hated how they whitewashed they Alliance.

@draconiam, if I'm correct, the multiplayer part of ME3 originates from that standalone multiplayer game you talk about. I saw some screenshots of it 🙂

@ELevin True, the ME3 multiplayer grew on me as I saw how others played it and enjoyed the potential of finally being able to play as other races (from the Asari to the Geth and Leviathan controlled Collectors and even the best boys: Volus and Geth), I just didnt liked how it seemed to take precedence over the single player portion heck, with the DLC installed the ME3 LE feels at an about right length in line with base ME1-2 unlike the original release. Would love a Director Cut where they work with modders to add things like the Priority Earth Overhaul MOD and the Ark MOD (one makes the last mission akin to the Collector Base and the other adds a lot of Andromeda references) which both uses dialog in the games files and cut content as well that modders created new missions from scrath in a span of 10 years.
