Hello everyone,yesterday I completed my relationship with Liara in Mass Effect 2 (like in ME1) but no trophy appeared. During my research I found out that there is a trophy bug and it has (probably) already been fixed by a patch (1.3).What exactly has the patch been fixed? Does Liara now count for the trophy or what should/can I do?Is there an official statement of EA?

Hey @d0rfkind,Since Liara's romance in Mass Effect 2 was originally only available with optional Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC, that did not count towards the Paramour achievement I'm afraid.No changes to that were made in the Legendary Edition, so you'd need to complete a romance with a different character for this particular achievement.

Hey @d0rfkind,

Since Liara's romance in Mass Effect 2 was originally only available with optional Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC, that did not count towards the Paramour achievement I'm afraid.

No changes to that were made in the Legendary Edition, so you'd need to complete a romance with a different character for this particular achievement.

What's the point of the wording of the achievement "rekindle a romance" if it can't count. Also since it's the legendary edition and all connected, including all that dlc. Why not include those romance options in this version of the trophy?

This still doesnt work even if you romance Tali, the Trophy/Achivement is broken.

Exactly. I would like to see this change. You (Bioware) are basically saying that romancing Liara means nothing.
If the spoiler video is anything to go by, Liara is going to continue playing a huge part in the next game and in Shepard's life (because Shepard IS alive) Will we still not get an achievement?? come on Bioware, Fix it.

I definitely understand the point with the wording in that achievement, but I'm afraid there are no current plans to make a change from how this worked in the original trilogy, sorry to say.

I'm not sure what's to come for Liara in the future but I'm looking forward to finding out too.

Fixing or changing up small stuff like this is exactly what the LE should have been made for.
It's not even the "wording of the achievement", it's the fact that Bioware did not even bother, and now they cannot be asked to remedy it...

I romanced garrus in me2 and did not get the trophy is there any know workaround I do not have a previous save to use on me2

Did the ones who romanced both Tali and Garrus did it after the Suicide Mission? Because originally the Paramour scene appeared and the achievement counted but now after the final mission all I get is a static black screen and when I press a button Shepard is in the Engineering deck. I can still call Tali up to the cabin as if I did the romance but no trophy, quite frankly when I did that on the 360 I reloaded an earlier save and made sure to have an auto save without Tali romanced.

@felker_s It's today's Bioware, what they did changed from that scene is to remove the trophy/achievement to reminesense with Liara aboard the Normandy both in friendship or romantic status and then earn us that sweet Stasis bonus power.
