[PC] Mass Effect 2 LE - Bugged gun switching

Question

Every so often in ME:LE ME2 on PC, I will run into an issue where I can't switch guns. The guns have ammo and are showing up when I press shift, but when I click on the gun I want to switch to, I stay on the current gun. I have to exit the game and come back to be able to unbug this issue. Anyone else having this problem?

Is the gun change working if you use the keyboard button?

A few questions to rule out problems with game files:

Do you use or did you use any Mods? (Everything, from texture mods over hair mods to customised&nbsp;Coalesced_INT.bin files.)
Did you edited the "GamerSettings.ini",&nbsp; "BIOInput.ini" or the "BIOEngine.ini"?
Please try to repair the game. (Shut down your virsu scanner and other security software for the repair.) (Origin &gt; Game Library &gt; right click MELE &gt; Repair)(Steam &gt; Game Library &gt; right click at MELE &gt; Properties &gt; Local Files &gt; Verify integrity of game files.)
Make sure Origin and Steam are closed
Go to your "&gt;drive&lt;:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Game\ME1\BioGame" folder.
Move the "Config" folder to your Desktop.
Test.
