Potential Mod Support for Console versions of ME:LE?

Could we be seeing any downloadable mod support for consoles (PS5, Xbox series X/S, etc, etc? I know it was mentioned in an article about original trilogy Modders getting a nod by the Dev team by telling them that their mods should work on PC but will probably need extensive reworking due to different software changes added to the base game. Games like Fallout 4 (despite its many flaws) added diversity and replayability by allowing console users access to both paid offical mods and unofficial free mods.
