The PC version requires 120 GB of storage. The only way to accomplish this on the console physical versions is to use three dual-layer Blu-rays (which is impractical), a Blu-ray XL (I don't know if the Xbox and PlayStation support those, or use a 4K Blu-ray disc (which I don't think the normal Xbox One supports). Obviously the Xbox One/Series X/Series S and the PlayStation 4/5 versions of Mass Effect: Legendary Edition have physical copies , so they will figure that out somehow. We are at a turning point with games that the size of games are becoming too large for the optical discs that are out now. In the future, either EVERYTHING will be digital (which is not practical for every country because some countries have crap internet so they rely on the physical media, but that is improving)…or similar Movie Theater formats, the manufactures will send people a read-only USB flash drive will all the game files on them but they cannot be copied or modified. Physical media will someday make a comeback, everything like that is cyclical, just look at Vinyl Records, they are coming back with a vengeance (not quite mainstream, but more people than simply "niche").
