Re: Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut DLC - Not Free Anymore?

I'm on PC. I know I've seen it in the Xbox store still for free.

I've double-checked and the DLC should be available for free as a separate download in your region. Could you please try to clear cache and if it doesn't help - reinstall Origin and clear registry files with CCleaner?

I've cleared my cache, reinstalled Origin, and cleared my registry files with CCleaner. The Extended Cut DLC still isn't listed as a separate download. :/ Any other ideas?

I also can't download the extended cut - how do I do this? It's not appearing on origin ☹️

Same issue for me - I also spoke to a representative who at first said it was free, but then said it is paid. It does not show in the "Extra Content" tab at all.

Just to make sure - can you see The Extended Cut DLC being listed on Origin after you click on the ME3 cover in your library and chose the Extra Content tab? It shows correctly on my account, so I need to double-check it with you 🙂

Also, this DLC is 100% free, so I'm sorry if you've been misinformed by one of our advisers ☹️

Hi @EA_Ataashi , I see all the other DLC, but Extended Cut is not there at all in my Extra Content tab.

I also have this problem. I could not find it in my extra content tab 2 months ago, re-checked today, and still cant find the extended cut in the list.

I hope you manage to fix it. thanks!

Have you been able to check with the team? I am at the point where this DLC would kick in and I would like to finish the game with the updated ending.

I had this same issue and after chatting with EA Support they said if you have the latest version then the Extended Cut DLC is built into the game. That's why you won't be able to see it in the add-on section.

That just isn't true. I also spoke to EA support. Evidently they don't know what they're talking about.

I definitely had the latest version installed and the extended content folder was missing from the installation directory.

Fortunately I was able to acquire the DLC via other means, paste it in there and experience the full ending in all its glory.

For those having the same issue and want to finish the game without waiting an eternity for EA to maybe sort things out - I'd advise doing the same.

Have you heard anything from anyone on this issue? It has been a while and I wanted to check in.
