IM BEGGING. Can we please please pleassse be able to remove helmets from our armor sets? For the sake of linear gameplay and immersion. Please respond! THANKS! [CM - Edited to remove ALL CAPS title]

@SofaJockeyUK @Funkeymonkeys90 Correct me if I am wrong, but I think Funkey is asking for the Special armor sets, like Cerberus set as example, to be allowed to run without a helmet which I don't think you can do. All special armor sets in ME2(I think ME3 as well) are complete with helmet and don't allow you to toggle them off. Only the first game without special sets, and regular piece sets for ME2 and 3 allow you to toggle off the helmet....like I said If I remember correctly.

@Funkeymonkeys90 I'm begging too, but more for the option to hide the helmet during conversations.

While playing the series there were the armors that came with the DLCs such as the Collector's one, or the Blood Dragon, but we weren't able to remove the helmets of those special armors and that made me not want to wear them, even though they're cool looking not being able to see the characters face is really bad, can we please have the option to remove (or hide) those armors helmets this time?

@SofaJockeyUK That is one of the reasons I don't wear them either. 😉 The other is that I find them useless for my builds most of the time.

I really hope this is coming out on the next update. I'm slowly progressing through ME2 but I don't want to spend the whole time wearing a helmet.
My Shep even keeps the helmet on to have shots!
Removable visors for teammates' alternative armors would be cool too.

just for the sake of clarity:

Special armor helmet removal is only available in Mass Effect 3, not Mass Effect 2. It is in the main game menu settings. You have Default, Default On, and Default Off. Unfortunately, Mass Effect 2 doesn’t offer this. The OP is correct that this should have been available in the Legendary Edition for the sake of option continuity. It bugs me, as well, that they didn’t consider this, given how long the remaster was in development.
Actually, there are a lot of missed opportunities in the Legendary Edition, little things that really wouldn’t have required much work. Oh well, I’ll just be glad when they fix the lost achievements bug, and my shields start working correctly, hard to be a Vanguard when a single burst drops your shields. I feel like I’m playing Elder Scrolls Online. Makes me wish I was playing this on a PC, the modding community is so much more talented than Biowares developers.
