Title. I have the game on Steam, it worked fine until the latest EA app update. Now the game hard crashes my steam deck during random loading screens. I play for a while then the game crashes and I have to restart my steam deck with the power button.
Pls fix this
Same with me. Bought the game yesterday, and it is unplayable, freezes the steam deck randomly in 0-5 mins from the start, EA do something!

Does the game make your whole system freeze forcing you to restart your steam deck, or is it only the game that freezes allowing to be able to still use your steam deck?
im currently playing me2 and its random when it freezes. I’m forced to restart my deck which makes me worry…

Same here. For the past week its been crashing non-stop. Sometimes I can play for about an hour and then BAM it crashes. Hard freeze, and I have to hard reset the Steam Deck. Stupid friggin' EA app screwing up everything. At the moment I'm stuck because I finished Feros and as soon as I hit the stairs towards the Normandy to leave, it locks up. Sometimes It'll be at a loading screen and gets locked on the Relay, then crashes.
FIX THIS EA.

I just installed ME:LE on my Steam Deck, and I can't even play games. That launcher eats up so many resources and everything stutters until it dies. I was able to load a save once, but literally 2 seconds later, my entire Steam Deck is hard locked. Had to manually power it off. Can't run it in Desktop Mode either. Every troubleshooting guide I've attempted hasn't made anything better.
Same problem! Just paid the year subscription and now mass effect is constantly crashing . Please Fix!!
I had the same Issue today. Mass Effect 2 suddenly started crashing a lot, with a hard reset beeing necessary every time. I seem to have solved the problem with installing Cryoutilities. Im using the recomended settings of Cryoutilities and the game did not crash again.
Recently mass efect has become unplayable due to constant crashing. Are others having the same problem as me. This requires a hard reset on the deck after freezing.
