This is what ME2 does half the time I try to launch it (Steam)

Question

The trilogy launcher opens fine, then when I try launching ME2 it goes to this black rectangle and sits there until it freezes. Only way to fix is to reboot my PC, I get one good ME2 launch per system reboot, so if the game crashes or I take a break I need to reboot my computer in order to get it to launch again.

Had zero problems in ME1, well aside from the planet sections still being a chore and dragging down the game (just like scanning in ME2 though scanning isn't as bad).

Plaese create a DxDiag in text file format and post it with your next reply. You can do that&nbsp; with the "Choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window.&nbsp;

Please preform a clean boot and test the Game in clean boot mode.

Make sure your virus scanner and other security software and also the&nbsp;Razer software and Afterburner and similar software is disabled.
Make also sure that your GPU &amp; CPU are not overclocked.

Nah it's good, like I said it boots sometimes so I know it's the game * up.&nbsp; Not surprised LE brought some new bugs when they left all the legacy bugs in (not talking about the exploits for morality xp or money).

There are bugs, but if it were the game, it would either start or not start.

So, it is very likely that something on your system is interfering with the game.
