Walking Bug

In Mass Effect legendary edition Me 2 and 3 on PS4. I've encountered an issue when I'm walking with shepherd and my gun is out... it's choppy and I stop and Lurch and stop and stutter walk and I'll try to Sprint and I won't Sprint and then I'll will... then the Sprint will stop suddenly right after I sprinted. It's very frustrating to play missions like that because it happens all the time not just every now and then.

  • Can we get a response to this issue? It's constant for me. It was bad in Me LE 2 and it's gamebreaking for me in 3.

  • I've seen this issue reported by a few people so perhaps it's not widespread, but Shepherd consistently breaks his movement to walk when I'm playing ME 2 or 3 (PS4). It's like a stutter step that occurs constantly when he has his weapon drawn and it slows Shepherd down to a walking pace. In ME 2 I can sprint to get things moving, but that doesn't work for 3. Does anyone have a fix for this issue? Because it's gamebreaking.

First hold the the left trigger(L3) pushed in, while walking straight forward. If that doesn't immediately fix it, double click the left trigger (L3) and if that doesn't fix it repeat the first step.

Was messing around for the last 2 hours myself, clicking anything possible that might have caused or triggered the slow stuttery walking and apparently this fixed it for me at least.

  • If I hold L3 Shepard will walk normal for a little bit, but then the stuttering starts up again. And I shouldn't have to hold L3 the whole time just so I can move around the game.

    Am currently playing ME2

  • Disapointed to see no solution to this problem.

I am having the same issue using a ps4 controller on my pc copy of the game. This is via steam and the EA launcher.

Pressing L3 as suggested seems to resolve the issue for a few seconds then it starts again.

Would love to see a proper fix for this
