War Assets Mass Effect 3 LE

It was stated that Total Military Strength would be calculated over the entire trilogy, however, when I accessed the War Terminal for the first time, it only indicated that my total was 580. Is this all you get from the first two games...? If so, I don’t see how I’ll ever get enough without multiplayer. A bit worried about this. I’d hate to play all the way through to discover that I had no chance to get the best ending 😞

  • @PauzWasTaken Well, I’m almost halfway through the game. If I’m not getting 500 to 1000 points to my war assets for the priority missions, I’m never going to get the assets necessary to get the best ending, or even the three choices.

I’m on Tuchunka and I’m only at 1640. When I started the game, I only had 580 and that’s after doing everything in Mass Effect 1 and 2. Believe me, I’m a veteran of this trilogy and I’ve done everything that can be done up to this point.

To get 7100 will require this iteration of Mass Effect 3 to grant some hefty points to achieve. And, everywhere I look, 7100 is the ceiling for the Shepard Lives ending. Though, there is a lot of BS about this game online, I’m still finding it very difficult to get TMS points as they just trickle in like middle aged man at a urinal.

Seriously, it’s like 5 points here and 10 points there… and after doing every conceivable thing in the first two games and getting only 580 points to start the third game with is disheartening. If Tuchunka doesn’t award substantially, I’m just going to stop playing.

Palivan only awarded me around 50 points, if that’s the scale I can expect from the Priority Missions, then I’ll never reach that golden number. I always hated this mechanic, now I hate it even more. Oh well…

  • @dominolabustier From what I'm reading, the points are there.

(Even for what people refer to as the 'best' ending, which I find is nothing of the sort. 😉. )

  • I'm looking forward to replaying ME3 the least.  Day 1 Prothean DLC, loot box RMT, all the issues with the story (not just the ending).  They really dropped the ball.  I don't think it even looks as good as ME2, the animations seem jankier.

  • I wouldn't worry too much about the War Assets, me personally managed to reach about 3400 within the first 15 hours of playing.

Just make sure that you explore and do the majority of the side quests available, and you'll have no issues at all filling the bar. 🙂

@dominolabustier some ME 1 and 2 choices are awarded later in the game depending on choices you take in the story (Rachni for example), at the end of my playthroughs I managed to get over 8k points but that is also doing fetch quests and scanning multiple planets.
