why do you think that?

As i've said before, the next 2 weeks are crucial for the future of this game.
EA Play and E3 will be the time they will say something about DLC's ,if there is one coming.
If in those big events Andromeda's near future is not even mentioned, the momentum will be lost and the few people still interested in this game will simply move on.Yah i thought so as well, and by the way it appears so, i'd say the "momentum" is already lost. And right u are, "few" people still interested in this game.
Unless, IF they decide to make Andromeda 2, when the time comes, they will blow us away with some good trailers and stuff and features that people missed in this game. That will win back the public.
If 10 years ago (and even earlier when they started developing it) they did an excellent job with MEs before Andromeda, is the reason people wanted a longer game-play. Well, now we have a longer game but we lost the Mass Effect storytelling feel.
Of course in 2017 expectations are obviously higher, technology is better, yet the product looks more unpolished than 10 years ago, which after all doesn't really make sense. And not all
negative comments have to be taken as being mean, but rather because people really like and care about their experience in a ME game. But oh well, we'll see 🙂

Because it's clear where their focus is when they give elaborate multiplayer notes and leave players to datamine or guess and what changed in single player.
Majority of their discussions on social media accounts have been about multiplayer.
And they've already had numerous multiplayer updates, new guns, maps, items, and the only update to single player was some items promised with the deluxe edition.
The writing is on the wall.

I really don't understand the sense of multiplayer on a mass effect. isn't this a story based RPG?
yes it has a very good shooting gameplay, but why multiplayer?- Anonymous9 years ago
They added micro transactions in MP. I do think it's basically for that. MP serves that purpose. However, even then, it looks like micro transactions weren't pretty much well implemented either. The answer lies in Solanum tuberosum.

There is two camps, multiplayer and single player. I enjoy both, so don't find myself feeling frustrated when nothing new happens for single player. What I would have liked to see would have been a crossover between your single player and some skirmish battles where you can take your single player character and play in a longer running battle alongside several other players.
Another fantastic idea that hasn't been realised is something i used to love in a space mmo called Tabula Rasa, and that is base attacks. So we've settled X amount of worlds and built bases there.. great. But What if they would do random attacks by large amounts of forces of Kett or Outlaws, or to some extent some remnant .. and then have the npc's alongside you actually performing a role as well as your natural team. Would be far far better than just have them dishing out missions or shouting ryder as you run past. A huge base attack every so often would be great.
Sadly though, end game currently means end-game as when you've finished the campaign, you are rather left in this void with squat to do... hence why you then find you either click onto multiplayer a lot or play through the whole game again.. and its no short game with all them dialogues as you know.
Whilst i'm happy with the 7 wave idea of multiplayer, eventually even that will run its course.
I have no idea what to expect DLC wise for this game, i'll be glad of any improvements and more importantly long overdue fixes for long running issues.

I dunno, stuff is being released already for MP. Don't get me wrong, I think it's fair MP gets some love and extra maps and all that. But I do wonder if they are going to make a proper DLC for it if they keep releasing new maps and gear regularly.
So I'm still thinking that an actual paid DLC is going to be SP, but who know? EA Play this coming weekend will be interesting.

E3 is nearly over and not a damn word has been said about DLC for Andromeda.
Anyone else thinking about boycotting Anthem out of spite?

As much as I wish there had been some news about DLC for Andromeda, I'm not going to lower myself to that level. Besides, Anthem doesn't come out for at least another year or more. That's a long time to hold such a non-productive grudge.
