Why can't Ryder be actually mean?
Okay, I was really glad when they said they'll get rid of the paragon-renegade system. It was too extreme, paragon easily got too high-and-mighty, and renegade sometimes turned into genocidal maniac....

For example, here is ME:A choices in a nutshell
Tann : Ryder, you gotta save the day!
The only choices are :
1. Oh my God... I can't wait to save the day!!! YEAH!! (Emotional)
2. I must save the day to earn more respect from you (Logical)
3. Yeah yeah.. suuuuree.. no prob... (Casual)
4. Roger that boss (Professional)
5. Got it, and i love you Tann... (Flirt / Love)
Actually i wanted some answer like "F*ck you Tann... i only do this for your credit, so i can upgrade my sh*ts" (Renegade)
God i miss ME3 soo much
But that's not really true. There may be single isolated instances but in general you can have a pretty antagonistic rapport with both Addison and Tann. My male Ryder tells them off at every conversation.
