MySims Medieval Socialize Bug

I’ve been stopped at 2 places in the game now and can’t move on. First, in Cowboy Island when you get to the part where you need to Socialize with Rusty, no matter how much I click either option, nothing happens. I am having this same problem with Vic Vector on Rocket Reef.

I’ve saved, exited, and restarted the game and nothing changes. I can’t move on in the game unless I successfully socialize with these characters. Hopefully an update comes out soon.
