Did anybody notice that after getting the Nissan Skyline R34 that the 25 blueprints weren't applied to the new car. It should have left the car with 15 blueprints. Instead, 40 blueprints will be needed to get the 6th star. I don't think I am mistaken about this.
Well, I am quite sure you are mistaken. No 25 blueprints were promised anywhere. If you are talking about last chapter reward, there were no blueprints involved. You got the car AND 25 gold. Still 40 blueprints to go to reach 6*.

We all would want that to happen, but apparently it didn't happen. So we all just have to deal with it.
@RacerTL As far as I know it has never been the case. You acquire blueprints during SE chapters, but after the final chapter, you get to OWN current car, no more blueprints.
Maybe the reason is cleaner transfer from loaned car to owned car, where sometimes even materials got removed (whenever you haven't completed a given parts requirements) and when receiving chapter bonus, you have no chance to interfere before the event is completely closed.
