Checkpoint Glitches in NFS Heat.

Product: Need for Speed Heat
Platform:Sony Playstation 4
Summarize your bug Anyone else jumping into an online race (with or without players) and the game doesn’t register you driving through one of the marked checkpoints on the course? Happened several times to me last night during The Hotel Resort, Valkyrie Heat 3 race, and the Flying Dutchman among others. Any word on this being patched? My account is BrizzleQ. Thanks
What car were you using? Nissan 180sx
Was the car your own build or downloaded from the in-game community? Personal Build
What was the last event you played? Flying Dutchman or The Hotel Resort
Was it a day or a night event?
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Driving in an online server.
What happens when the bug occurs? No race completion is accurately tracked.
What do you expect to see? 100% acknowledgement of checkpoints being crossed through.

How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Racing in an online server.
What happens when the bug occurs? No progress is tracked towards race completion and you will need to turn around and retrace steps.
What do you expect to see? A patch where driving through checkpoints is counted 100% of the time.

    Thank you for the detailed post @BrianMonSan 

    I believe this issue may be triggered by internet issues (which can be local or on the server side of things). @archangelofjust, you mention this still happening, If you play over wifi can you try using a wired connection and see if anything changes. If this isn't possible for you/you're already wired up, a router power cycle may help.

    I also had no issues with offline play, but to answer the part about simultaneous glitches, the "Checkpoint Missed" splash often doesn't trigger, and sometimes the pre- and post-race crowds are misplaced, but I believe that's been temporarily addressed in patch 1.4.

    There's a gameplay clip I took from this morning of the problem on my twitter, @nachomanrandys1 

    Playing on Xbox One X, and my home internet has a dynamic IP address.

    I had the same problem I deleted it off my ps4 and reinstalled it and fixed it

    I just returned the game because of this check point glitch. Played the first beginning race 5 times and kept failing for some reason then noticed check points were not activating as I passed, so I tried a few more times even having to circle around to get check points to only finish last and keep failing the first race with the crappy yellow car. Took the game out and returned it. Paid 50$ for a broken game then game stop rips me off and gave me 32$ for the game I didn't play for more than 20 minutes.

    @BrianMonSan Yeah that’s what happens to me to but even though I figured that out, and started to slow down once I past the checkpoints, it still doesn’t register me going through them.

    I have only encountered this problem whenever I hop onto online, but when I am in solo it’s fine. I already switched from a lan cable to wireless and it still is happening, I turned off my router/modem but still happens, I deleted the game and downloaded it again but it still happens. I restarted my console and it still happens.
