  • Dear all,

The error still persists on my PC, which is above the recommended configurations for Need For Speed 2015, and it isn't playable. I already have it for a couple of weeks, constantly having problem running it, problems such as: directx issues, it doesn't recognize my GPU (Nvidia GTX 950m), some ".dll's" are missing, and so on. It is most unpleasant and I am thinking not to buy EA - related games anymore. You are on the verge to loose another client. Please help us solve this old problem once and for all!

I am having the same problem with both Need for Speed and PVZ: Garden Warfare 2. It is so annoying because I can run Titanfall 2 on my PC but not these two games. If you make any progress with EA (Which is highly unlikely), can you post the solution in this thread please.

    Thanks,

    Alex

  • Try google "dxwebsetup" and run it. let me know if the problem still persist.

    • Right click an run the vcredist files from your game install location as an Administrator.
    • Try a clean boot before starting the game: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135
    • Also, for nvidia users, you can run your video driver setup and choose Advanced and then Clean Install.
    • Please also be aware of the System Requirements for this game:

Minimum Requirements for 720p30 at low settings
OS: 64-bit Windows 7 or later
Processor: Intel Core i3-4130 or equivalent with 4 hardware threads
    Memory: 6GB RAM
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB, AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB, or equivalent DX11 compatible GPU with 2GB of memory
    Hard Drive: 30GB free space
Input: Keyboard and mouse, Xbox One controller

  • I've spoken to an adviser and they said it was on the windows side of things, it is nothing to do with my system or the software
  • So how did you manage to fix this? I am having this problem with NFS2016 as well. Please help!
