error code 4005000

Are you on Xbox One or PS4 @Tprince85?

I'm not familiar with this error code. Can you try the solution listed here? It might help in this situation. I would also recommend checking the sticky. If nothing worked, can you check if you have any kind of parental control settings that could block the connection? Let us know how it goes.

I just got this game about four days ago, and now whenever i try to play it, it says that I need to be signed into EA (i am) and it says error code 40050000. Please help? it would be greatly apreciated.

Why does the game just stay loaded at the control menu, I left my game on for 2 hours and it is still loading. Honestly this game is a bunch of problems. Error 40050000 occurs almost all the time and Im such reinstalling the game, and also I do not want to play online with other drivers but I can't because I get a message saying internal error has occurred. 3 problems and not solutions, 90$ wasted had less problems playing need for speed underground on the ps2. Any help?

Main steps that have solved these issues for other users:

• Turn on UPNP--check your router's manual for instructions on how to do this
• Open ports
• Clear persistent storage
• Note that you can't do both steps. Either turn on UPNP, or open your ports.
