Hi danisoff,
Thanks for the suggestion, but I’ve already contacted EA support. Unfortunately, their response was completely off-topic. Here’s part of what they sent me:

> We've shared all the available troubleshooting steps with you to fix the issue, but issue is still persist, we suggest you to check in our forums if someone has a similar issue."
They redirected me to a link that has nothing to do with my issue (it’s about FC25 and a Windows update), and just told me to check the forums… which is exactly what I’m doing here.
So yes, I’ve tried support already, but now I’m looking for a real solution—or at least feedback from someone who’s faced the same issue with Need for Speed Hot Pursuit (non-Remastered version). 😔

You should try your luck with support again, the issue itself is linked to your account (game ownership). Only support has the tools to assist you with the mentioned issue.
