Need for Speed Hot Pursuit installation issue on EA App

Hello everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue installing Need for Speed Hot Pursuit through EA App. The game does appear in my library, but when I try to install it, I get the following error message:

> "You don’t have access to this. We’ve canceled the download because you don’t own this game. To play, go to the game hub to get the game."

I want to clarify that I own the non-Remastered version, and I suspect that’s where the problem lies. I’ve already tried all the usual troubleshooting steps (reinstalling the app, clearing cache, verifying license, etc.), but the installation fails every time.

I’m looking for concrete answers:

- Is the original (non-Remastered) version still downloadable via EA App?
- Is there a workaround to install it?
- Or an alternative (activation, replacement key, etc.)?

    You should try your luck with support again, the issue itself is linked to your account (game ownership). Only support has the tools to assist you with the mentioned issue.

    Hi danisoff,

    Thanks for the suggestion, but I’ve already contacted EA support. Unfortunately, their response was completely off-topic. Here’s part of what they sent me:

    > "Thanks for reaching out.  
    > I hope you are doing well, I would assist you with your issue today.  
    > Please accept my heartfelt apologies and we deeply regret the issue.  
    > We've shared all the available troubleshooting steps with you to fix the issue, but issue is still persist, we suggest you to check in our forums if someone has a similar issue."

    They redirected me to a link that has nothing to do with my issue (it’s about FC25 and a Windows update), and just told me to check the forums… which is exactly what I’m doing here.

    So yes, I’ve tried support already, but now I’m looking for a real solution—or at least feedback from someone who’s faced the same issue with Need for Speed Hot Pursuit (non-Remastered version). 😔
