I really appreciate the reply. Since the game is older I haven't really found anywhere else offering support. I've tried each of those things you mentioned. No luck. I also tried reinstalling the game and reinstalling my graphics card drivers. Any other suggestions? I have 10 Origin games, 20+ steam games and a handful of Uplay games and have never had an issue with a game launching

Here is what you can try:

Changing the screen resolution as follow:

• Right-click on the desktop and select Screen Resolution.
  
• Reduce the resolution as much as possible.
  
• Save the changes. 
  
• Revert back to the usual resolution and restart the computer.

Also, try the compatibility troubleshooter and repair the game installation via Origin - On the Library right-click on the game and select repair.

EA -- If you aren't going to support a game anymore, stop selling it.
