PC Performance

So with a patch dropped today i had high hopes to see something good for this game.

But game still runs like a * on a stick and textures still load in slow or doesnt load in at all.

Not to mention the all of sudden 5 seconds freeze for  no reason (which i hadnt before).

I was very upset with the nfs 2015 and payback when i bought it and im so glad i only just got 1 month of premier because the current state of the game proves again its not worth the headache.

Also lack of patchnotes.

  • @Ripperino2K You're not the only one. Plenty of people are having serious issues including me regarding games optimization on PC, which spoiler alert: is quiet bad. Staff at Ghost need more transparency to it's community upon what issues need mending and if they are being fixed. From graphics to gameplay. So far we got nada.

  • Textures not loading is typically related to GPU Vram (What GPU do you have and what settings are you using? Also how much ram? Another cause could be hd if your using a hhd how much space is available and when is last time you defragged or it could very well just be the game but to note I don't have this issue but my system specs are more than enough.

  • @Ripperino2K Performance is abysmal. I'm running a 2080Ti and 9900K and struggling to get over 100 FPS at 1440p no matter which settings I use.

Game runs great on max setings on my AMD build; RX590 8gb , Ryzen 5 1600x, 8gb ram, on a ssd

  • In utra "runs great" with this specs?? Yeah sure, with 30 fps XDD

  • This place is called "Answers HQ" yet we're not getting any?

This games "performance" is just tragic.

    Core i7 7700k running at 4.5ghz
    OC 1070
    16gb 3000mhz Ram

I haven't had to play a game at 1080p for the last 3 years. Until NFS heat, where the only way to get a solid 60fps is play at 1080p with no AA which is unacceptable.

EA pump out a "performance" patch where the only noticble difference I've witnessed is I now get the occasional CTD...

    What a dumpster fire.

I have an even worse PC I think. FX 6300 8GB RAM and GTX 1050 Ti I play this game 1080p with a 30fps lock and TAA on. I can still get dips below 30fps BTW. And have to say the anti aliasing options given are indeed lacking. I mean I can get away with no AA in some games but this game horrible aliasing. This games FXAA straight up saying isn't doing anything because post sharpening from this games bring it the aliasing right back at you. The TAA does work a bit but leaves aliasing present and it gives a horrible trailing effect. And again the sharpening in this game, which you can't disable, doesn't help either. I hope we are not gonna meme this release like RDR2 on PC. Cause I really want this game to succeed but I just can't recommend it to my friends atm.

  • I agree. The AA in this game either doesnt work or is just some of the worse implemented I've ever seen.

I'll play a game at 1080p providing the framerate is stable but without any AA or even using FXAA this game hurts to look at.

It's what is suspect about "recommended requirements" as that doesnt discuss what resolution or frame rate the game will run at.

I have i5 9300H 16GB and gtx1650, and im playing on 1080p with full AA and high to ultra settings on 50-60 fps

  • Well lucky you for having a reasonable stable fps. If I remove my 30fps cap from rivatuner the game fps is higher and can sometimes reach to 50fps but the fps drops become way more noticable without the cap.
