I can't play any of the online game modes it just says network error I know it's not my network because everything else works fine and I know the servers are working as well is anyone else experiencing this or know why it's happening
My Xbox is on the 2nd floor and my router is on the 1st floor.
Community ManagerThat's definitely going to cause problems with a wireless connection. A powerline adaptor would be your best solution in that case.
I managed to power cycle my router. Sadly that didn't work. This is ridiculous. I have literally tried everything possible. I'm honestly considering just refunding the game at this point.
Community ManagerYou're still wireless with a lot of distance between your console and router. There also are walls and floors in the way. This is going to give you a bad connection. As a test, can you move your console to a TV that is closer to the router? It would be great to test it with a wire, but if that's not possible, even moving it closer should make a difference.

Also, I see you submitted a bug when you opened a case. That won't get a response since it's a bug report and not a request for support. You would need to choose technical support instead of bug report to get an answer.
It has now been almost 2 months now and I still have not been able to fix this problem. I have tried everything that I can possibly do at this point.
Community ManagerAre you still on a wireless connection with your router on another floor? If so, did you try moving close enough for a wire to see if there's a difference? If you have to stay on a wireless connection, make sure it's a 5G connection. Also, it would be good to put your console on its own wireless channel. That can be done in the router settings. It won't stop this from happening, but may help a bit. Unfortunately, wireless is just too unstable. Especially with that much distance as well as walls and floors being in the way to get a good connection to the router.
I have the same issue. wired connection didnt work, hot spot didnt work. uninstalled and re installed game. all other EA games online servers for me have worked. but NHL 23 will not connect no matter what is suggested.
