Can we have as many likes as possible on this topic so that they can add the exact match setting. And as quickly as possible. We want the NHL 24 eashl setting back
I've pretty much stopped playing the game because of things like this. The gameplay issues themselves are annoying, but having to wait around for 30 minutes to an hour for a decent lobby? That's absurd.
Here's a little advice, EA. In my time playing this franchise, I've learned that this is generally how 6s EASHL lobbies are judged.
Full lobby = Optimal. So long as the ping is decent, everyone's good to go.
Both teams missing a player or two = Not perfect, but it's fine. Most players will play this lobby, no problem.
Full lobby of skaters, but no goalies = Most players don't want to play against AI goalies, but it's fine since both teams have AI goalies. Playable.
One team missing a goalie = Nope. Immediate back out for most players. Playing against an AI goalie is one thing, but having a human goalie on your team is such a disadvantage that most players will just leave.
One or both teams missing a center = Absolutely not, especially if only one team has a human center. Playing against an AI center is a virtual guaranteed faceoff win for any decent center. This leads to one team winning every faceoff and the other team starting every play behind the 8-ball. No center is an instant quit.
Give us use best location settings not everyone has whole day to sit in lobby and wait for game
Still burying their heads in the sand on this one I see...but hey at least we got goofy pre-set builds with Fortnite skins that absolutely nobody ever asked for or wants
The way they had it last year was perfect, no reason to change anything but for some reason they did. Makes ZERO sense at all!

Why did you even change that ?? NOONE asked about it. Oh my lord...
Is it too late to request a refund? This wasnt announced before the game was released. This is the only mode i am interested in and it’s unplayable.
How do you make such a large change to matchmaking and not even talk about it? And when people complain, the answer is to “wait to see if anything changes”. I get none of this is your fault, it just feels like the devs sit around and do nothing all day except find ways to make this game more annoying. Further pushing my belief that they are intentionally trying to kill this game.
Community ManagerWe are not trying to intentionally kill this game. That really makes no sense whatsoever. Changes are made with the intent to improve the game. Obviously, that doesn't always work out.
If the change was intended to improve matchmaking in some way, communicating that to the player-base would go a long way in gathering consumer driven feedback.
If we know the intended goal of what these changes were meant to produce, we could provide feedback as to whether those goals are being met.
However, making such a fundamental change and then acting aloof as to whether or not it was intentional or whether it will be changed in the future is pretty frustrating and only serves to confused and fuel anger.
So I never thought I'd say this but nhl 24 is better than this game for 3s,my buddy and I have gone back to playing nhl 24 because nhl 25 sucks and I will not be buying this game next year,nhl 25 in threes is so slow and so sucky ,nhl 24 is three's the way it should be good bye ea your succeeded in driving this guy away, I'll keep my $100 thanks
