It is well ventilated. I've also checked the console with my hand after crashing and it doesn't feel hot at all. Again this is the only game that causes this issue. It is 100% a software issue. Thats what Microsoft told me during our 45 minute conversation. A bug has persisted since launch and has yet to be fixed. 6-7 months? Still no fix. How can i confidently buy next year's game? Who knows if it will even be fixed with the next edition.

We'll provide an update when we have one. Unfortunately, without reproducing it, we can't fix it. So far, using an external fan working has been confirmed by a couple of people. Might be worth trying until we can find a resolution for this.

Sounds good Aljo. I'll give that a try. Do I just need to send you my shipping address or are you guys gonna send a check?

Aljo I've been doing some research into these external fans and Microsoft seems to think they aren't a good idea. They say that it actually increases the risk of overheating because it blocks the internal fan of the xbox. The console already has a fan in it. I don't want to break my console. Any other fixes?

Unfortunately, I don't have anything else to suggest.
