Game crashes during Create a Player

I bought the early access just so that I can start creating custom teams and players as soon as possible.

The first day I started playing, both Create a Player and Create a Team worked just fine. Now I can't even enter Create a Player without the game crashing immediately.

I tried all the standard steps of turning the console on and off again and so on but nothing's working. I paid extra money to get started and now I can't do anything.
