NHL 25 configuration error

Hi there. We're still investigating this. The ban you had isn't supposed to prevent you from playing so hopefully, we'll have this handled soon.

I got banned for a week because of an offensive name. When I go back on to play World of Chel, I am getting a game configuration error right before I enter the game. Has there been any updates on how to fix this, or does this happen because of the ban?

Here are some resolutions that have had limited success with others:

• Clear your system cache with these instructions.
• Have everyone leave and rejoin the club. It was reported this worked after multiple tries
• Delete the club you were on when this issue started

If that doesn't help, send me a private message with your PSN ID. I'll pass it on as part of the ongoing investigation into this.

This is ridiculous…i haven’t been able to play this game in months! I’ve done everything you’ve said to do and it still doesn’t work. I’m on Xbox, any suggestions? The update didn’t fix my issue 

Hello. We're planning on releasing a fix for this in the January update later this month. There are a few possible resolutions that have had very limited success. They're worth trying though.

• Delete the club you were on when this issue started

If none of those work, you should be able to play on a different account in the meantime.

Are you joining the same club? If so, that's probably the issue. You could try deleting the club or creating a new one and see if it still happens. 

No. The disk isn't causing this. It appears to happen when you join a club that possibly has players with multiple platform accounts on the same EA account. It's possible this will be fixed with the January update.
