Fake shot with just R3 on PS

It looks like PlayStation already supports controller profiles. Take a look at the guide here.

That's appears to be only for the Access Controller.   As far as I can tell standard PS5 controllers only support button swapping as far as remaps go.   

I don't think there's any non-expensive option for the PS5.  I'm a bit loath to drop $300+ CAD just so I can remap a single button in one game.

I don't think we need the ability to do complete button remapping in-game.  I think this particular issue is probably widespread enough to warrant looking into giving us the ability to disable the fake shots if we want to.

yea I got that thanks. but now I have to click the R3 to move up in the menus. I'd like to have an 'extra' button to put the leg kick if possible. I switched the up D-pad cause that is really not used in BaP on total control layout. not sure on triangle

Yeah, same. Appreciate you sending along the feedback. 

or even a combination of buttons like before (if possible). like LT (or LB)+R3 or something. wish y'all could do that for checking. you have no idea how many interference penalties I got from trying to "shoot" the puck but "check" someone instead. especially when your thinking the AI is passing you the puck but either they don't, one of your own teammates 'takes' it, or it gets picked off or deflected. or even when there's a scramble with multiple players around the puck.

If you hold L2/LT when attempting your shot you won't perform a body check if you miss-time things or if the puck never arrives.

wow I never knew you could do that. it will still do the shot if I get the puck?

I did remap and it does stop the leg kick (fake shot) and you can still shoot a wrist or slap but you'll have to use R3 to move any menus up (if you remap up Dpad) but I changed it to square because I don't use square. I will eventually get the edge but $200 has to wait
