I HOPE but DONT EXPECT

It has been around 2 months or maybe more since I have posted because the truth is the lifecycle of the game and changes are small compared to what can come in the future. Also, I lost faith in the team's ability to make changes on bugs or unintended uses of systems that affect on ice gameplay post launch.

please EA_Aljo I am hopeful that the team see this.

Try to respect space and physics as best as possible. I'm a primarily defensive player even at forward I'm a 2way center and secondary a 2 way RD and seeing players shoot through my body with maximum effectiveness hurts and diminishes all the work I did to be in the correct position. Just to see their stick phase through my body and other janky animations that should be virtually impossible.

Please look at my stats if you have to by no means am I elite 1 level but I am above the average for sure currently plat 2 and highest diamond. In user leagues I'm usually one of the better i dare say top 20% Dman in 1k+ player leagues and top 10 in lesser leagues. I say this to emphasize that I do have some ability to judge defense as a system. It is okay but not good in comparison to the ability to enact offense + the exploits frequently used by Offensive side.  NOTE: IF you say you have made a change in the upcoming game make sure it is true (e.g. L2/LT)

I reiterate that Defensive physics, Puck Physics, Interceptions w/ Vision, and for the love of god the stupid kick the puck to intercept error need work. Players that are being interacted with physically should not be able to fire off highly accurate with near unimpeded power shots when they are impeded by another entities force (defender). Same goes for player puck retention & pick up ability, which may be the core issue that's creating all the problems (Assumptions).  In general just improve these areas for future NHL27 defense.

  • I understand that "there will be instances" too many Is the problem. I'm not going to sort through them hence my lost faith because it is easily seen in many live instances.  the snapping into place is the problem this was just an example of me. I actually picked a mild one. This should be easily found in any testing. I get it, I'm not unreasonable but the player did nothing (offense) to win that puck he just stood there and got favorable puck action straight to his foot (not looking) and kick to stick vs. the position I had

for that specific game I had 90 strength  90 puck control, 90 def awareness and 90 balance in that game-- he has 80, 88, 90 off aware and 75 i moved into him he barely flinched. Everything was a snap to his favor- not good, BUT if we are going to go with what you said, then yea this will always be a problem that goes unfixed because we are basing it on this minor instance, there more egregious ones every day posted in this forum (At least i have seen previously).

Thanks at the very least for looking at this minor one. like i said I'm sure I'm not the only one that saying this is a problem hopefully it is fixed I don't expect it to lol. #lostfaith Unfortunate.

Anyways ill be streaming today feel free to watch and you'll see live how easily offense exploits defense because they have underwhelming tools, on both my team and the opposing team.

Thanks for the video. You're not able to pick up the puck or make a play on it due to contact with the opposing player. You get bumped. This doesn't allow you to get in position to intercept, poke, etc. There are always going to be instances where sticks clip through bodies and objects. They can't affect the puck though in this instances. So, you can't just keep the puck glued to your stick while it's passing through another player. It will come loose and can be picked up. Who picks it up depends on positioning and ability scores.

here is an example you can go through the good or bad at your own pace many league videos there. Some games we are the ones that benefit from bad physics and skating through contact or shooting through it.  below is one against us (me specifically).

    https://youtu.be/3li222JMg-w?t=851

this is a game we did poorly in general (bad play ), with one instance of wtf lol.

i wont respond with setting the table or bias until a response has been made pm or here.

Hi there. Thanks so much for the feedback.

Can you get some video of this? Just put it up somewhere it can be streamed and respond with a link. Thanks!
