Fail searching versus battle (casual) NHL 26

Hello, in the process of searching for opponents in the versus battle (casual) mode in NHL 26, when playing with two players on the same PS5, after the opponent is found, the match is terminated with the message "lost connection to the other player." Several dozen attempts were made with different players. However, when playing with the same PS5 and a single controller in the same versus battle (casual) mode, there were no issues.

    Thanks. Type 2 should be fine. Is the other player logged in to a PSN ID?

  • We've already tried three different approaches: 1. We added a profile that's been around for a long time. Just a month ago, we were able to play with the same console against different opponents without any issues. 2. After identifying the problem, we tried adding the profile as a guest. 3. We also created a separate psn account and added it. In all cases, the issue remains the same. It finds an opponent, but that's where it stops...

  • Now the same problem occurs when playing "versus battle, casual" already when playing with one gamepad. There is a search, the opponent is located and that's it, then it does not connect. Added a video to the files.

    Have you power cycled your equipment since the last time this worked? If not, try these steps.

    1. Unplug your modem/router for 2 minutes
    2. Hard restart your console by holding down the power button until it turns off
    3. Power it all up and try playing again

    Try using alternate DNS settings. Instructions for that can be found here.

  • We tried both types of DNS settings, but the problem persisted.
