Framerate issues/Compatibility issues.

So I had this issue last year with the framerate dropping during gameplay when trying to play a second consecutive game after finishing the first. The framerate would drop and become unplayable, or at the very least unenjoyable.

I play on a Xbox Series S/X. (Yes, I've uninstalled and reinstalled)  

NHL 26 comes out and now it's even worse! It seems to mostly happen near the end of periods, or if I try to play a second consecutive game without rebooting the game. When I say framerate issues, I mean the game literally stutters so bad that I can't do anything. I've seen this mentioned here and on other popular forums for last year's and this year's game. 

I have never seen EA address this in any forum or in any space. So I'm guessing that this only happens to a small percentage of players so perhaps EA doesn't feel the need to look into it? I could be wrong, but it just seem to have never really gotten any attention.

Somebody from EA, please, hear us.

    Hello. Are you on a Series S or X? Can you get a video of what's happening?

    I'm on Series S. I believe I can get video, but I would probably have to upload it from my cell phone unless there's a better way that you can explain to me in detail. Also, tell me where to send it or upload it. Thank you.

    Actually, I've heard of this before. It doesn't come up often. Unfortunately, there's no known solution for it. Did it just start happening or has it occurred since you first got this console?

  • It's happened since last year with NHL 25 and now again with 26. Never had any issues with any of the previous releases on the same console. 25 was bad (in terms of frame rate and stutter) and now 26 is REALLY bad. No solution? What does this mean? Are you saying that my console is faulty? I'm confused. I see many more people posting on this exact problem on several different discussion boards and would happily link the threads if I'm allowed. Can't this be pushed to the development team and looked into? I pay for this product yearly and love it, but this is not good. I have over 50% of my hard drive's space available, I've tried reinstalling twice and each time I do it plays well for the first game or two then it's back to crazy stutter. It's just graphically, the audio does not miss a beat or skip with the stutter. I know there is no known solution. I'm asking and hoping that this can be looked into by the team for the people who are having this issue. I'm just frustrated.
