Game Crashing Back to Xbox Dashboard when I try to save a created Team

Every time I try to save a new created team the game crashes back to the Xbox Dashboard. I can edit and save a new created team but cannot create a new one. I deleted a bunch of created teams to see if that helped and the game is still crashing.

The best I can advise is to use a roster that doesn't cause the crash. I'll pass on the report. Thanks!

I think it may be crashing due to the NUMBER of players added, not the specific players causing it. One team is consistently crashing once I add a 28th player to the roster, no matter who it is, but I can still switch out if I stay below that 28 player limit. Same thing for another team but it's at 24.

Unfortunately, the best I can recommend is to use a roster without the players that are causing the crash.

The game does not crash when using default rosters, but I would like to attempt to save this current active roster due to the work I have done on it. And it was working perfectly fine until I was editing the 15th team of the day, so I'm not sure what happened.

Update: Crashing does not occur when I add a roster of a current NHL team or an alumni team, but it is occurring when I select specific players from either

Hi there. Does the game still crash when you use a default roster?

Hello, I am having the same issue and attempted the "Delete from Console" method above. This is happening whenever I create or edit a team. When I'm creating or editing a team, I've tried it out with different groups of players and it continues to crash. For context, I am using a custom roster where originally, there were 66 created teams, but I deleted them all and added in 17 new teams. Adding this because I've seen that deleting a team doesn't actually delete it and still counts it against the 80 team limit, whether true or not.

No. Don't do that since it will delete the team and it won't be recoverable.

Are you always creating the same team with the same players?

I clicked “Delete from Console” and that did not work. Do I need to click “Delete from Everywhere”?

Hi there. Thanks for reaching out. I'd like you to try deleting the personal saved data for NHL 26. Please follow these steps.

    1. Hit the Guide button on your controller
    2. Highlight the NHL 26 icon
    3. Hit the Menu button. It's the small button to the right of the Guide button with 3 horizontal lines on it
    4. Choose Manage game & add ons
    5. Go to Saved data
    6. Delete the file with your gamertag on it

Try this and let me know what happens. Thanks!
