Nhl 26 Franchise Mode Trade Edit Freeze

I'm on the first season of a Franchise mode, and every time I try to edit a trade, the game kind of freezes. I'm saying kind of because it shows controls at the bottom, and I can select certain things in the menu, but I can't exit the trade, add players, or accept the trade.

This usually occurs when I either add players to the trade or when I try to see "player info.o"

When I try to press RS to see the player info, it briefly shows me the info of a player, but then exits. After that, regardless of what I press, nothing happens. At the bottom of the screen, the controls switch to "show team info" and exit, but exit doesn't work, and "show team info" soon disappears.

If I don't choose to edit the trade, everything works, but I think it's just that menu.
