Roster issue

Anyone have an issue with franchise where you have an injury.  Injured is replaced via a roster move (call up from minors).  Let’s say a defence, now that same person occupies a spot in the forwards as well?  You switch that player out and now that player occupies both positions.   All updates have been done and latest roster applied.  
Doesn’t matter the player you put in, that player now takes up a forward and defence spot.
