Game has crashed my whole XSX multiple times now playing HUT squad battles and rivals.
This really sucks! Today, I was winning my SB game with only minutes to go. Restarted XSX and paid 500 coins to replay as it gave me the loss. Made it halfway through game only to have it shut down again.
Not a great experience with this year's NHL. Not happy at all.

Do you have the console set up where it automatically shuts down the console every so many hours?
You don't have your power cable plugged into a surge protector, right? Can you confirm with me you've tried all the steps above. I’ve tried the steps above , I’ve just plugged my device straight into a wall now and it is no longer in a power bar. I’m hoping that was the cause … I also shut my ps5 down after use .

You mentioned not having anything plugged into the USB ports. What about controllers and headsets?
Surely those should not cause issues?
the menus work just fine but as soon as i actually try to play it crashes my whole xbox and it shuts off.
ive had the exact same issue and no help from ea or xbox support
I’ve attached the error screen I’m receiving. This is also occurring in PIN lobbies . Ps5 is directly in a wall , I’ve tried everything on the suggested list at this point

Those SHOULD be fine. I've see weird things happen with random devices like guitar hero dongles and even my cell phone charger causing menus to move slower when I was trying to charge my phone. There are some controller charging dock stations that have caused issues before too. If it's just the wire that came with the console to plug into it that is okay. For a headset, you could always try removing it just to see if you avoid crashes, this way we can completely rule out a compatibility issue. Yes my ps5 had a system software update a few days ago .

Can you try deleting your skater profiles and create a fresh one to see if that clears up the errors?
