I have the same problem. Its not just that the ping is higher, but for me the game feels so slow and delayed.
I have the same issue. Its been going on since wednesday-thursday last week. I've gone from 4ms in NHL 6v6 to 22ms and from 6ms to 20ms in FIFA 1v1.
Having talked with the swedish NHL-community, this seems to be a WIDE spread issue specific for EVERYONE with the operator Telia connecting to the EA-servers. This involves players from the whole country.
Please solve this.This is a problem all over Sweden . People Who have Telia as internet provider is having this issue. It started wendsday, on thursday it was fixed, the it came back friday and its still the same. Its both Nhl and Fifa . I used to connect to Ea Stockholm server but now it seems that we connect to same server as germans, chech , swiss people . You have to fix this !
Hi! It’s been a week or two with this strange sudden raise in ping times.
This is for sure very frustrating and we the players are getting sick of it.
Now, is there anyway that we can help you troubleshoot this further? We’re anxious to see this issue solved and we would do anything to help.
I’m sure u guys have a task force for the matter, please use us the players to assist you, we all would help u out gladly.for example, what are the IP addresses to the servers we can connect to for the eashl part of the game? If you provide them we can ping them to see which servers we actually connect to, just to make sure we actually play on Swedish servers i.e.
U stated in a previous message that 20-30ms is a valid ping time, well it’s not valid for competitive gaming and I’m sure ea agrees with me on that point, otherwise, is ea even trying to let their players play competitive?

We're still not aware of any issues with our servers or game that would cause this. When we see a high amount of reports coming from one ISP, normally it's an issue on their end. Players from Sweden would be routed to servers outside their region if a lower ping was found. It also could be a routing issue from the ISP. We'll keep an eye on this, but at this time, we're not finding any issues on our end that we can fix.

Have the same issue. Had a 19-22 in ping when playing Rivals NHL and now, if lucky I have 35 and it can peak to over 900(!!) in ping. Usually nowadays I have 47-65 in ping. It´s been like this for couple of weeks. Impossible to play so I have quit playing all EA Games. Telia appear to don´t know anything and can´t answer a question.
(Most annoying in this is that Telia sends out that they gonna charge me more every month because I will get faster Internet. LIke spitting in my face)

Have you also gone through troubleshooting to make sure there are no issues with your connection?
Oh yes. I have everything from re-make my whole network to test all settings there is on my router and PS4. Have spent hours with this issue.
Now I have have ordered a new ISP for test during 2 weeks with a free trial (Tele2). Hopefully that fixes the problem. If not, the issue must be on EA, not iSP- EA_Aljo4 years ago

The best I can do is go through connection troubleshooting. If you want to do that, let me know.
- @EA_Aljo Nope. That's not the best you can do. This issue has been going on for a month now and it's making the gaming experience really bad and all you do is to ignore the problem. The issue is that people with Telia somehow have a higher ping when connecting to the Stockholm server all of a sudden, why? You, as a company, should reach out to Telia and AWS to try and figure this out instead of doing nothing. Is it too much to ask for? Can you at EA do anything right for once, please?

We don't have anything to do with Telia's services. This isn't something we can help them with. We have no control over their systems, nor do we have any access to them. When we see a lot of people only on one ISP having the same issue, that's something the ISP needs to resolve. Also, without going through troubleshooting, we can't rule out any issues with your connection.

- @EA_Aljo Telia says it's your servers, you say it's Telia. What i'm asking for is that you work TOGETHER with Telia and AWS to figure out what's causing this sudden change in MS. Why does people who had between 6-16 MS all of a sudden have 30+

We haven't been able to troubleshoot your connection so we can't confirm there are no issues with it. Regardless, if we find any problems with your region, they will be investigated.

Now I tried another ISP (Tele2), unfortunately same issue. As I see it, it´s EA issues, not ISP issues. So, I´m pretty done with EA now as well.
Its time to fix this issue now EA , i know at least 150 players Who are having ms problems. Its been like this for more than a month now. No more money is going to be spend i Hut or Fut until this is solved.
Is it any news in this case? Im a Telia customer in Norway, and i have had the same issue for some weeks now. I used to connect to the Stockholm server with 12 MS, but now i only connect to the german server (or another nearby) with 22 MS.

At this time, we don't have any updates. Since it appears to be an issue with your ISP, the best I can advise would be to contact them for assistance.
Can EA help us here ? The problem has been for 3 months. Its really frustrating. Plz
As of 23:00 swedish time our (players with Telia ISP) just doubled again - from our already worsened pings. So personally I went from 17 to 38. Originally I had 7. Please fix this. Call Telia or whatever, there is obviously a problem.
