No change on my end and it's been persistent since I installed the game. I know it's not a networking issue because like I said above the other online modes work fine.

As it turns out, it seems to be an issue with custom gamerpics. Change your gamerpic on Xbox live to a a default one and you should be able to get in

I can play all of the other online game modes fine it's just Ones Eliminator.
I'd like to be able to complete the challenges but it's impossible for me to do so.

Did you ever get a resolution? I am having the same issue I can play drop in but no one's or threes eliminator, stays stuck on matchmaking screen with high population and 14 sec avg search. Then after about 5 minutes get the return to dressing room error.

Yeah it's a custom gamerpic issue. Change it to one of the defaults and it will work.

I’m still running into this issue. Also tried using a default gamer pic and still didn’t get me past the loading screen
