Thank you for your response for this post as well just like my previous one.

Please do pass this post on to the team I myself love EA Games but feel of late the company has lost it's charm.

I know very well just like so many gamers out there as I have done my research would love to see these classics back on your store.

Please take my post seriously. 

Please make sure to renew the licenses of these titles and NOT I repeat NOT to remaster  or remake them all we gamers want to relive our childhood memories again as the games were first released.

Hope you get my point Darko I have proudly been a part of EA for 20+ years I have seen games come and go and what the company has gone through.

It is my request to EA team to add these games back and take my word for it see how people will change their mind on EA games.

My friend on origin plays Battlefield 1942 via Origin ... But when I search for Battlefield 1942 It does not show, so I am unable to install and play ... Hope you can help

As far as I know Battlefield 1942 was delisted (I think because the multiplayer went offline but I don't know). So sadly you won't be able to get the game for any digital platform anymore. If you got an official retail copy of the game you may be able to get the game activated on origin through the EA support.

That's why I requested so many old titles in the first place as you can see above. I don't know if EA will ever bring them to their platform again  but if you really want the game like so many others EA games not there on the Origin your best bet is get them from Amazon.in or Amazon.com which is not cheap at all. But this is the best way or try any trusted ecommerce website that you know of and see if they stock old EA games.

But Battlefield should activate on Origin if you do get the legit DVD game if not do not worry it'll play as it is through the Disc itself as so many other games.

I am a huge EA fan myself but expired licenses of old games is mainly why they are removed from Origin.

I totally agree with your sentiments on both   adding the games you listed  onto the origin  client as well as  stop making remasters as they really do spoil the  original, and, why should I pay for a game I've already paid for, just because the graphic my have been upgraded. To be honest, I like my Battlefield 1942, Battlefield Vietnam, Battlefield 2 and 2042  as well as the Harry Potter games as they are, but would dearly love to see all of them on Origin. I do have Battlefield 1942, which was a  giveaway  some years ago, but  it does not include the two expansions  The Road to Rome and  Secret Weapons of WWII.  I still have the original disks, but can only play the  base game that was given away on Origin. I've tried everything I can think of to play  the expansions by  installing the original disk as well as the expansions, but  cannot get the original to work, same with Battlefield 2. I have two original  disks, one   from  the  month it was released and a special edition that was released after the Special Forces expansion was  released.  I've even copied over thge two expansions to the  Origin  installation and can see the two expansions  but  cannot play them.  

Seriously, these games as Johnny1xx1 said,  were what made EA games and it's  disgusting that they are  left out in the cold by EA games.  Battlefield 2 for example is still  well supported by the modding community and  mods such as Project Reality and Point of Extinction are still  well  supported by the community.  And  new mods for Battlefield 2  such as Battlefield 1943,  which was finally released  Sept 2020 (and is amazing) and  the latest mod by Anthony  called Battlefield 1944 which is still in the beta testing phase as well as other mods that improve on the graphic and  maps that are  almost phot realistic.  There's  still a lot of support for those old games out there.  Another   question you probably wont like,  Why was Battlefield 2 removed from Steam as I know  loads of Steam friends who really want the game. 

@maccymelonBF1942 was given away via Origin some years ago when they had a monthly giveaway. I managed to get the giveaway, but you can't get the expansions The Road to Rome and  Secret Weapons of WWII.

I've tried adding the two addon folders  from my original disks by installing the game, then transferring the two folders related to the two expansions into the BF1942 mod folder. I can access them, but can't play them via Origin. Sad as one of my favourite BF1942 maps called Eagles Nest is on Secret Weapons of WWII.  The original disks won't work   when installed  only the base game via Origin.  ☹️

@EA_DarkoSorry, I was answering what I though were questions or responding to different  community members.  All were posted at different times over a period (can't remember exactly how long)  I'm full of opiate med's due to a serious RTA and tend to be very focused on one thing at a time.   Should I have combined all the posts into one comment?  Again, sorry if I've broken any rules, that wasn't my intention.
