I have an EA account but every time I've tried to register a spore account in game it says there's no record of my account in the system.
As a result I've never been able to register a Spore account, any help or pointing in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

Did you fix that issue? I had buy again the origin version of spore and saw the same thing as you, i can't log in
Yeah! I get this problem too...
If your EA/Origin Password, I think, has special characters in it, then it won't work and, if your password is 16 characters or longer, then it won't work either. Here is a another thread that may have some other solutions. I really hate how broken everything is since things were migrated to Origin and stuff.
