Spore Activation Steam

Why is spore available on steam if i can't activate the online mode of it from steam because either the 'code can't be validated' or i 'don't have the privaleges' because i paid the money for this game and EA i would like an explaination.

    If you are not able to play the game using you Steam client, I would advise to contact Steam customer support.

    This is a communication error between the game and the spore.com site of some sort. The error we are receiving is that we do not have the proper Spore.com privileges to access online content. That is not a STEAM/platform issue. This is a recurrent issue, it seems. Would appreciate a definitive way to solve this problem. Trying to pass it off isn't fixing it for any of us who paid money to play.

    I am having this issue, and began first with the Steam client side.  Steam can do nothing to support games that are not within their house.  Therefore, EA has to support this issue.  I have been attempting to contact through chat for six hours just to play this game, and there has been no response.  The wait time said 5-10 minute wait, and it's been six hours.

    There needs to be 1) a method to contact that isn't chat.  

    2) Any game sold via game clients such as Steam needs to be clearly supported without so many recurrent issues.

    Research on Steam shows that though the game is well loved, there are points that even EA support staff don't even know the game exists.

    Seriously, EA.  Please get your self together if you're going to sell on Steam.  This is ridiculous.

    Nope thats not correct. 

    EA supports games purchased directly through their client. If Spore has been purchased through Steam and you have problems, you need to contact the seller. The Spore version of Steam must first be redeem with Origin, so that the game is manually linked into your account

    If you bought through Origin, is the game already linked to your account.

    I appreciate the offer of assistance, but I did start with Steam.  As it says in the image, they do not provide support.  

    Not going to jump down your throat, I know you're just helping.  But in this instance EA does need to support this issue.  I
