Amateur Championships Missing from Career Mode

Product: EA SPORTS PGA TOUR
Platform:PlayStation 5
Summarize your bug The Amateur tournaments are missing from the Career mode. My Amateur career only gave me 4 events to play, the US Amateur, the Masters, US Open, and the Korn Kerry Qualifier. I should be able to play in the U.S. Amateur Championship, Augusta National Women’s Amateur, The Amateur Championship, Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship, and Latin American Amateur Championship according to the Career mode deep dive.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start a career mode and you will not get the other amateur events.
What happens when the bug occurs? I can only play in one of the amateur events and the others are not even possible to play in.
What do you expect to see? Accoding to the Career mode deep dive "After you’ve perfected your look on-course, you’ll be able to control where you want to start your career - as an amateur in one of the top amateur events, on the Korn Ferry Tour, or the PGA TOUR. As an amateur you’ll be able to play in the U.S. Amateur Championship, Augusta National Women’s Amateur, The Amateur Championship, Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship, and Latin American Amateur Championship, culminating in Q-school where you’ll compete for a spot on the Korn Ferry Tour. After you’ve conquered the amateur championships you’ll have the opportunity to earn an invitation to the Masters and U.S. Open."

Missing from the career mode. So unfortunately at the end of the Amateur season I had to turn pro, no other option to replay the amateur season. So I cannot complete the quests in the game

  • It's not a bug. You pick one of the amateur tournaments which gives you the chance to play in the US Open and Masters before finishing in Q School.

I think it's just worded badly and I don't like how the quests are to win the US/Masters as an amateur because that just seems unrealistic and as you say, no way to go back and replay.

yeah im trying to do the masters right now and am not prepared for it at all. The latin one i did i was -17, here im +7 am. and counting. Is there a way to play these solo to get practice. Or if i fail with the masters does that open up more amateur events again? i haven't played a gold game in over ten yrs. it would of been nice to do them as we wanted too, instead of this manner, at least for beginners.

  • I realised this so I created a second player and you can pick off the additional amateur championships .  I noticed that my new player had already picked up the achievements of player 1 so I'm guessing you'll be able to pick up everything b repeating this

  • This is not good.  You should have the right to play in all of the amateur tournaments and win them all before playing in the US Open, Open or Masters as am amateur before going to KF Q-School.  Let us play in everything.  It's would be more fun for me and at least for some others as well.  More options = more fun.  Those who want to skip ahead should be able to as well.
