What swing speed setting are you using? If it isn't 'slowest' then reducing this should help with this.

@Ultrasonic_77Yea I’ve tried that and still the same thing. Tried all of them.Did the change at least make the issue better, as in you were slow by less? If not are you definitely pressing the button to save the change rather than just scrolling left and right between the different options and then coming back out? Only asking as I think it's less obvious than it could be that a save is required for the change to take effect.

No still slow on everything even if I slam the joy stick up. And yea I saved it bc the little save icon popped up on the bottom right.

@jaytexusSomething I thought was funny (after the fact, but infuriating while doing it) was, the FULL POWER swing challenge. I couldn't find an explanation on what was full power. So I was making sure the backswing was capped out...nope wasn't it. So then I started noticing that little power meter sometimes in the positive and sometimes in the negative...huh, well, how the hell do you keep it in the positive every time!?!?! No explanation. Until someone in this forum mentioned flicking the left stick on the follow through and not pushing it. That was it...unreal. To get full power it's about how fast you release your follow through (in other words how quickly you release the left stick after it goes forward). Flicking works best but can be pretty inaccurate at times.
Thank god a player found this and posted it, because I was losing my damn mind on that challenge. AND, after you realize how to do it it is super easy. Ugh...

This has been my absolute biggest gripe with this game...swing mechanics. I CANNOT understand the math, algorithm, etc with the swing. Regardless of it being a putt, approach, drive, etc I can make sure the swing is perfectly straight and the power curve the EXACT same and even have the power meter close, however the upswing/downswing (whatever) can be .1% off and the ball can literally travel several feet in one directionor the other?!?!?! What is that all about.
On a putt in the challenge section I have literally had 100% the exact same putt placement power, curve, EVERYTHING the same...and hit go right of the cup by 1 inch the first time then 4 inches left of the cup the second time. I mean, if you are trying to say I am 1/8 inch off somewhere (something you can't even tell), then the mechanics are broken. I honestly believe the swing mechanics have been tuned to death to where it is virtually impossible to hit the same swing 2 times in a row. It doesn't have to be easy but damn this is ridiculous.
OH...the flop challenge and basically in the game...how can you have an object block me seeing the player swing??? It's basically making you blind swing if you hit right in front of a tree or rock or anything large. Why? I can change the view but it really doesn't help.

What you're seeing is the same "randomness" that is in Rory 2015
A developer claimed there was no randomness in this game, but I don't think he would have answered honestly anyhow
This is based off Rory and you can tell when playing it.
A lot of the play feels the same

So basically the skill challenges and some in-game play is not really skill, it's luck. For example, in one of the bunker challenges, I must have hit over 500 shots before I got the ball in the cup in one swing. Several hours of swinging over and over, until I made it...and to be honest, when I did I thought, "I could have swore I hit the exact same shot several times before with the same stats". So why didn't it go in the first time??? Hahaha.

And the delay isn't a player problem...it's a developer/game issue. It has been discussed by not just the player base as a whole but popular gaming sites. It's well documented that there is input delay.
If it was intentional, then it should be discussed as such and the reason for it. Transparency is better than everyone trashing the unknown and it causing others not to buy your game. That should be obvious
- 3 years ago@TriumphRider Such a great point
If the swing is "this way by design", EA would be much better served to publicly say that and defend the decision and explain it a bit.
