@Jlha28Clothes, clubs, gear are cosmetic only, they don't improve your performance at all. Only Attributes increase your players performance.

There is a specific category in the store labelled Specs. These items change the performance of your clubs/player but nothing else in the store does.
If you buy for example an iron spec you can apply it to each of your iron clubs but you must do so separately for each one rather than there being an 'apply to all irons' option. To apply a spec you need to go into the details of a particular club in your bag and then scrolling to the specs tab. Have a nose around and I'm sure you'll figure it out 🙂.
