How do I change ny name and make a custon avatar?

Being fsdjfbsdjg is strange to me and the avatars are all stuff I would never pick. Trying to set my name and avatar. Would be nice to have some golfing stuff to pick an avatar from. Tried settings, ...

Got the name change in the EA settings (weird), set a custom avatar too, but it's not showing. Any tips?

You can't set a custom avatar on this forum I'm afraid. That I have one is a perk of my Champion status and similarly EA staff obviously have this freedom too. I do find it a little strange that everyone doesn't have this freedom though, as every other forum I post on does. I guess it's not wanting to have to worry about anyone using inappropriate avatars though.
