Here's proof that simulating is definitely possible and if you ask there I'm sure somebody will be able to tell you how to do this:

@Ultrasonic_77 this is called "quick" play. The CPU picks 4 or 5 holes per round for you to play. This is very different than how simulation in other EA Sports games.
